Special 9/11 Blog Hop-Never Forget!

Welcome to our special 9/11 Blog Hop with The Stamping Boutique we are honouring those that are fighting the war after the affects of 9/11. If you have come here from Collette's Blog you are on the right track!

Operation Write Home collects cards made by stampers/cardmakers from all over the world, these cards are used by the troops to send home to their friends and loved ones. This is a cause very near and dear to my heart, as I was involved in a similar project through the Cricut MB called Cards for Soldiers. I was a shipper for several years for the Central time zone until recently until my life just got too busy. The cards and letters received from those that I sent packages to on behalf of the team of men/women that sent cards to me was overwhelming, it's amazing how something so simple that we all take for granted can help our troops and put smiles on their faces. I always got these tremendous thank you's for sending cards, when we should be the one thanking them for all they do1 It's really does help boost moral, so please think about sending those cards to someone that can use them and would definitely appreciate your efforts!

For my card today I chose to work with the ribbon image, which you can grab over at TSB Challenge Blog. I colored the image with copis and found this paper in my stash, cardstock is CTMH. The black stars are bling that I got at Michael's and I wrote Never Forget on the ribbon. On the inside of my card, I printed this poem on vellum that I found here.

How about a little candy? Leave me a comment and I will randomly pick someone to win 3 digi images from The Stamping Boutique! Now head on over to Debbie's Blog to see her wonderful project!

Well I have had a crazy day and my oldest son, Micah has 8th grade graduation tonight which cut into my crafting time. We are also heading out of town as we speak for a mini vacation to Georgetown, KY to visit some old friends. So I have been feverishly trying to put something together using the adorable new Audrey image below, however my printer is not working now and I cannot get it fixed. UGHHH, why does this always happen!

So what I would like to do is look at this lil' cutie and leave me a comment telling me " What is your fave summer activity and why"- I will randomly draw a commenter to receive 5 free TSB images of their choice!

Now that you have left your comment, please head over to Tammy's blog.

Have a great holiday weekend and be Safe!

Make sure to mark your calendars or make yourself a reminder to hop again tomorrow by starting at Jen's blog and you will finish at Tracey's blog!

OK we are doing the Bunny Hop here at my blog because I got to work with the Bunny Pocket Patootie, which would be perfect for Easter! Now how about some super sweet blog candy, leave me some love and tell me what you would love to find in your Easter basket. I will pick one random winner to win 2 Pocket Patooties of your choice! Now hop on over to Tracey's blog to see what she has come up with!

Michelle Perkett Love Letter Blog Hop

Welome to your next stop on the Michelle Perkett Love Letter Blog Hop, if you came here from Mez's Blog you are on right track. If not please head over to Michelle's Blog to start the hop.

We will be celebrating Valentines day by writing a special love letter to the love of our lives! It can be your husband, boyfriend, mother, sister, daughter or son, or a loved one who is no longer with us. Michelle graciously provided us her "love letter fairy" stamp to work with. She is flying around the world delivering love letters! (and candy hearts here and there, too!:)

For my card, I used this yummy Paper Company paper from the Huggs & kisses line called Swirly hearts that I got from Archiver's. The ribbon I have had for some time, got it at Target in the $1 section, added some bling, and a little Martha Stewart heart border punch. I am going to send this to my hubs Grandpa Ollie, we just lost Gma in Decemebr right before Christmas and she was a very special part of our family. I want him to know we are all thinking of him during his time and shower him with some love! I am still working on coming up with just the right words to comfort him.

Thank you for stopping by and leaving me some LOVE, now head on over to Sarah's Blog to contniue the hop!

TDS Blog Hop-Party Time!!!

It's a Party today at The Digi Shack and wait to have your socks knocked off by the new digi's coming out TODAY!!! In honor of this New Release at 2 pm we are taking you on a Holiday Blog Hop Adventure, so what are you waiting for head over to the TDS Blog to start the fun! BTW some of DT may be giving away some "Shack Sweets" including myself, so check out details below!

OK if you arrived here from
Alysabeth's blog you are on the right track, if not please head over to TDS Blog to get started. I have 2 cards to share with you using the new images broomstick and mask and boy did I have fun with these 2 images!

For my first card, I used the broomstick image and paper pieced it, I used a punched out scalloped circle to create my clouds. I also used same technique to add some cloud to inside of my card. Sentiment is computer generated and I used Cuttlebug for a little embossing.

For my 2nd card I used the mask image and "blinged" it up! I embossed the mask with Cuttlebug Swiss dots folder and then pulled out my stickles to make it sparkle. Sentiment is from one of those $1 Studio G sets.

OK now for some "Shack Sweets"- I will randomly select 5 people to receive the Another Dog Gone Birthday image. All you have to do is create a card for the "Digi Diva" challenge or Blog Hop sketch challenge on TDS blog and post a link in comment section by Sunday. Also 1 random person will receive $15 worth of the new images from me, I will select the winners on Monday. So what are you waiting for show me your cards, if you don't have a TDS image, there are a couple of freebies on TDS blog.

Now head on over to Crystal's blog to continue fun!
