Fall/Halloween Cards

Up for a fun sketch this week to get you started, well that is the challenge this week at

 The Crazy Challenge. Fall/Autumn colors are an optional twist. we are happy to be sponsored by Di's Digis once again and I chose to work with this adorable "mummy bear" image. We would love to have you play along with us, the DT has some great samples at inspiration posted here!

I grabbed these halloween scraps and inked the edges with CTMH bamboo ink.  I loved the sketch this week at The Crazy Challenge so I used it on this card as well. Fall is in the air and the leaves are starting to turn those lovely shades of reds, yelllows, oranges and browns which provides the perfect inspiration for this week's challenge at Kaboodle Doodles. That's right "Show Us The Leaves" is the theme of challenge and we are sponsored by the wonderful

Meljen's Designs. When I saw this image called "fall wreath" I knew I wanted to work with it! I have colored it with copics and then ditressed the edges of my image and layers using my Tonic tool. Kaboodle Doodles #65- It's all about B!

How stinkin' adorable is lil' bear?  Well he is called "Giving Bear" and is courtesy of Di's Digi Dowloads and we are so excited to have them as our sponsor this week at Kaboodle Doodles. This week we'd like to see your creations using embellishments that begin with "B" - buttons, bows, brads, bling - decorate your project with anything that begins with a "B."

For my card I used the sketch over at Create 4 Fun, however I turned it on it's side. I have also used something new to create my flower buttons, my dear friend Miss Sue got me the Epiphany Crafts Button Studio Custom Button Making Tool (say that 3 times fast, lol)!  It allows you to create your own customized buttons using any papers you like.  I have also used my Nesties to frame the image and my Sizzix polka dot embossing folder to add some texture.
