Digi Day at PaperCraft Planet Challenge

If you missed it The Stamping Boutique held a Digi Day on Saturday.  Along with the chatting there were some fun challenges, with prizes up for grabs and you have until Monday, March 14th to get your projects entered here: Challenge #3.  This is an inspiration challenge....let the picture below inspire you...let it be the colors, the background, image itself, let it be how it makes you feel....doesn't matter to me...I just want to see how you took the image!!! (For copyright purposes, photo came from here.)

For my card I chose to work with She Who Paints the Forest from the Enchantment line.  My fave color is RED and when I look at this pic that is what I see, lots of pretty red flowers.  So I grabbed my Copics (E00/E31/E35/E37/RV000/R81/R29/R59/G14/G19) and then I added some sparkle to those wings!  Cardstock is Bazzill and the green polka dotted is from one of my monthly Storyteller's club kits.  I inked all the edges using CTMH New England Ivy ink

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Stamping Vacation- use glitter

She Who Paints the Forest

Today is the day the new Stamping Boutique Journal comes out over, what is is you ask?  It's the newsletter for The Stamping Boutique, it will tell you all about the exciting things happening as well prvode a FREE image to all who subscribe.

I am being featured in this issue and was asked to create a project using the FREE image included this month called She Who Paints the Forest.

For my card I used Copics to color my image
( BG09/13/15/23, R81, E31/37/51/21/00,
Y01/12/15/17, G14, YG01/05/11, R81) and then I distressed the edges of it and mat.  All papers are from my huge paper stash, I added ink around edges using CTMH Cocoa ink pad.  Ribbon is alos from my stash and those wonderful pearls I picked up in the $1 section at Michael's.  The sentiment is one from my Studio G $1 stamp sets.

So if you would like to learn a little more about MWAH, head over and get signed up for the journal and get your FREEBIE!  Remember is you create a project using a TSB image to enter it in our monthly contest here.  While you at it there is a 25% off sale going on over at TSB, so go pick up those images on your wish list here
