CHRISTMAS CARD MAKING STATIONS:
Do you make a resolution every year to get your Christmas cards done before the holiday rush? Do you ever get them done? Well, come attend this fun “Christmas In July” benefit crop and we will help you get all your holiday cards done for Christmas 2009! We will have several Christmas card making stations set up that will promise to be a ton of fun. Croppers and vendors all are welcome to visit any of the card making stations throughout the day to make cards. There will be many designs to choose from and you will be able to make as many cards as you would like of each card design. Each card will be $2.00 and you will actually make two cards at the $2.00 fee, one card to keep for yourself and one card is returned back to the Cards for Soldiers to be shipped overseas to our soldiers.

ALSO TO CLARIFY-THIS IS A CROP SO BRING YOUR SCRAPBOOKING PROJECTS OR ANYTHING YOU WOULD LIKE TO WORK ON FOR THE DAY! WE WILL HAVE GAMES, CLASSES, CARD MAKING STATIONS, AND OTHER ACTIVITIES BUT YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY OF THOSE ACTIVITIES. JUST CROP, CROP, CROP!

Squigglefly Challenge #9

It's Monday so that mean another marvelous challenge from our leader Kim Squigglefly. This week Kim's challenge was to make a one layer card with one embellishment, sounds easy enough right? Well it's harder that it sounds-LOL!!! Since I was out of town and did not plan ahead again, I will be posting my card later. Charisma Cardz Challenge #22- Pink & Brown


This card is for Charisma Cardz challenge #22 to use pink and brown. Papers are CTMH, image is a digital from Victoria Case Designs called spoonful of sugar. Pink cardstock is embossed using the Cuttlebug and paisley embossing folder. Added some bling, ribbon, and sentiment for $1 Studio G set.

Little Rocker Card



Is this image not the cutest thing you have seen? She is from Squigglefly and is called Little Rocker. There are so many ways you could use this little cutie. I added some candy cane stickles to her shoes, buttons, and collar. Belt has some stardust stickles. I cut out and popped up the music notes and added some black diamond stickles too. Who doesn't love some bling? Blue cardstock is embossed using a QuicKutz embossing folder.

365 Cards Day # 95-Wacky Color Wednesday



It's been awhile since I have got to participate in 365 Cards challenges. I made this card last week for Wacky Color Wednesday, we were to use orange, blue, and pink. I used my labels Nesties to make card base, stamp is $1 set from Joann's.

Have you seen Dustin Pike's digital images? They are fabulous and he has such a great variety to choose from which are released frequently. This image is called cupcake monkey, isn't he adorable? Sentiment is from those $1 Studio G sets (series 27) we all love. I added some dimension by popping up that cherry and adding some bling, I also added glossy accents to his eyes.

VCD Challenge #1-Willy the Worm




Here is my card for the 1st challenge over at Victoria Case Challenge blog. Willy is a free image Victoria is offering to those who email her, winner of this challenge gets to be a guest designer.

Caardvarks Challenge-Shape Up/VCD Challenge #2


What a quick, fun card to make! The challenge over at Caardvarks was to make a shaped card. I thought I would try out the Nesties that have been sitting on my craft table calling my name, what a quick way to make a card using scraps. Pink layer is embossed using Swiss Dots embossing folder and Cuttlebug.

This card also works for challenge #2- Pink/Black/White over at VCD Challenge Blog. Again I used this cute digi image called Duck Cakes from Victoria Case Designs. Sentiment is once again from one of those $1 Studio G sets and added a little diamond Stickles to hat and cupcake for a little sparkle.

Well this is just a quick card I made using scraps laying on my table. Image is called Soccer Dude and is another fabulous digi from Victoria Case Designs. I did pop dot up the soccer ball, sentiment is $1 Studio G.

Squigglefly Challenge #4




Monday brought us another challenge over at Squigglefly blog. This week's challenge #4 was to use sketch above to make card (scallop can be used in any corner), easy right? What are you waiting for , hurry over and upload your card to Mr. Linky. One person will be chosen to win this week's prize-your choice of Squigglefly image.

For my card I choice to use Number One image again and add background. This is very similar to card I posted previously, however this time I actually cut all the white squares out of soccer goal netting. Once again clouds is a vellum paper from my stash and sentiment is one of those $1 Studio G stamps we all love! Stars are chipboard that I colored using Cat's Eye ink pads
