For those of you they may have not hopped with us last week, Bella is an 8 year old girl from NH. Over Easter she came down with a near fatal infection that has left her without her arms and legs. Bella is a true fighter and you can read more about her incredible story here: Bella's story as well as make donations if you would like. Erin over at Scrap, Stamp, and Be Merry came up with this awesome idea to host 4 blog hops, in order to shower Bella with some love and smiles from all over the world to show her how truly inspiring she is!

There is an also awesome Grand Prize too for all you Fabulous card makers out there that join us in our mission to fill Bella's mailbox with love. Check out the Grand Prize package here.

This adorable image is from Chicken Girl Designs and is exclusive to i (heart) papers store. I colored it using Copics. The papers are from a Me & My Big Ideas stack. Ribbon is also from i (heart) papers store.

I would like to offer a little candy for those of you that would like to play along- anyone who makes a card, links up in comments below, and sends to Bella will be put in a drawing to win 3 free images of your choice from Chicken Girl Designs.

Blog Hop for Bella

Today we are doing a very special blog hop to bring some smiles to an AMAZING little girl named Bella. Bella is an 8 year old girl from NH, who over Easter came down with a near fatal infection that has left her without her arms and legs. She is very lucky to be alive as doctors didn't think she would recover from this illness. Bella is a true fighter and you can read more about her incredible story here: Bella's story as well as make donations if you would like. If you have just come across my blog, you will want start at Denise's blog. If you came here from Cory's blog you are on the right track.

For my card I chose to send this cute little card to Bella using this adorable image from Squigglefy which is of course colored with Copics and the papers are from a MME stack. Bella's story makes me think about how much we take for granted in life and how we all need to take time to enjoy the little things because you never know when something like this could happen to your family.

I would like to offer a little candy for those of you that would like to play along- anyone who makes a card, links up in comments below, and sends to Bella will be put in a drawing to win 3 free images of your choice from The Stamping Boutique.

Now head on over to Jude's Blog to see her wonderful creation! Remember the hop runs until Monday the 28th so you have plenty of time to get your card made, new hop starts on 29th.

Some exciting news......

This weekend I watched my 14 yo old, Micah and the rest of his team coached by my hubby play in the State baseball tournament. They played some great baseball this weekend and ended up finishing 3rd and we are so proud of them! What a great Father's Day gift to all our baseball dads!

I am especially proud of Micah, he pitched AMAZING to help get his team into the semi-final game. We had 7 strikeouts, 0 walks, and only 2 hits- which if you aren't a baseball person these are great stats!

Now my little guy starts his end of season tournament tomorrow and has his State tournament this next weekend! He is the one all the wy on right in front with cheesy smile-LOL!!!

Look for new projects from me using images from Chicken Girl Designs, The Stamping Boutique, and Squigglefly this week starting tomorrow!

Christy

New Release Day at Chicken Girl Designs!

Today is release day at Chicken Girl Designs and boy are these some great images! Are you looking for the perfect Father's Day image or how about that summer BBQ? Need to send a card to let someone know you are thinking of them or Congratulate someone on their new home. Then this new release is just for you and you can only pick them up at i (heart) papers store.

First I decided to work with Sizzling Good Time, is this not the cutest? I decided to work with the sketch over at Tuesday Morning Sketches. I found the perfect paper in my stash, I believe it's from one of those DCWV stacks. I cut the red using my QuicKutz die, but you could use Labels 8 Nestabilities to get same shape. I colored my image with Copics of course and added a few brads and little ribbon to complete.

For my 2nd card, I chose to work with World's Greatest Dad image. I again used a sketch courtesy of Sketch and Stash Challenge blog for 1st part of challenge, second part is to use something new which is my CGD image of course! Once again I colored image with Copics, added a little ribbon and bling from my stash however you can pick up some blinghere. I also used one of my embossing folders, check out the variety of embossing folders available at IHP here.

Check out the other cute images below:

Gator Greetings......

Isn't this gator just the cutest? He is a fabulous image from Chicken Girl Designs that can only be found here. I colored this lil' guy with Copics and then cut him out and popped him up. I then added a little texture to him with a little ribbon and colorless blender solution. I cut my card base using QuicKutz scalloped rectangle die and added a little texture to my card using my Cuttlebug and embossing folder. Paper is from my scrap stash and is CTMH.

Challenges entered:

A Crafty Little Place- anything but square card

Caardvarks-use stamps and wet/dry embossing
