Copic Buzz Challenge #27

What buzzing over at Copic Buzz today? Well it's challenge day and today our sponsor is the incrediblly talented Michelle Perkett, you can see your wonderful images here. Our challenge today was to use the sketch provided with our choice of image from Michelle. I chose to use Queen of Hearts Birthday Girl, isn't she fabulous? The yummy paper is from Heidi Grace and I got it at Archiver's. The wonderful sentiment is from Studio G, it is one of the wood block $1 stamps from Michael's. I know it's hard to see, but I used glossy accents on the hearts on her crown and hearts/polka dots on her dress to add some dimension. Head on ove to The Buzz to check out rest of DT samples and to upload your project for your chance to win the Michelle Perkett prize.

Crafty Cardmakers Challenge-Hearts & Romance

I featured this card for new release day Saturday, but with blog hop and other things going out I think it might have got overlooked. I loved it so much, I thought I would feature it again and enter it in the challenge over at Craft Cardmakers. This image is from Squigglefly and is called Shy Bear Heart Cloud. As soon as I saw it I thought about those colored candy hearts you get at Valentine's Day, but wanted to just do pretty pink colors and let the image take center stage. Once again my $1 Studio G stamp sets came in handy with all those fun Valentine pet names.

Paper: stash
Ink: Versafine black
