If you came here from Deanette's blog you are on right track, if not you will want to start at SMC blog.
Well I have had a crazy day and my oldest son, Micah has 8th grade graduation tonight which cut into my crafting time. We are also heading out of town as we speak for a mini vacation to Georgetown, KY to visit some old friends. So I have been feverishly trying to put something together using the adorable new Audrey image below, however my printer is not working now and I cannot get it fixed. UGHHH, why does this always happen!

So what I would like to do is look at this lil' cutie and leave me a comment telling me " What is your fave summer activity and why"- I will randomly draw a commenter to receive 5 free TSB images of their choice!

Now that you have left your comment, please head over to Tammy's blog.

Have a great holiday weekend and be Safe!

Chicken Girl Designs and Color Throwdown

Today Kate is sponsoring the Color Throwdown challenge. Some lucky winner will win 6 digital images from Chicken Girl Designs. Check it out to join the fun and see what rest of DT has done!

For my card, I did not have any Stampin' Up papers so I raided my stash of papers and scraps to get colors that were close. I chose to use the Kitty cake image and it's colored with Copics. Make sure you check out the i heart papers store to pick up your Chicken Girl Design images!

Sketchbook Wednesday at The Shack!

It's challenge day at The Digi Shack and time for another Sketchbook Wednesday and as always Toni has come up with a great sketch to work with!

I chose to use one of the new labels from the set you can find here. I created this paper rose that I learned how to make this past weekend by my Diva friend Sue(thanks Sue). I then sprayed it with some glimmer mist to compliment my pink and brown color combo.

Head on over to "The Shack" to check out rest of DT's projects and join the challenge!

Crafts 4 Eternity Recipe Challenge #33

It's Friday and that bring another fun recipe challenge from Crafts 4 Eternity. For today's challenge we were to use the sketch, shades of blue, and some beads. I used this adorable new digi elephant from C4E, I printed it first on a scrap of blue paper and then colored it with my copics. I then colored his toes with my white gel pen. All papers are from my scrap stash, I used my QuicKutz die to cut the top note and inked edges with CTMH Outdoor Denim. Sentiment is from one of my $1 Studio G sets and of course punches with my fave Stampin' Up punches. Now I didn't have any beads specifically, so I used these little adhesive pearls from CTMH.

Make sure to join the challenge and check out rest of DT projects over at Crafts 4 Eternity.

Sketchbook Wednesday

Today is sketchbook Wednesday at The Shack again and we have another fun sketch to play with. Have you grabbed your Manic Monday freebie image yet? Well if you haven't make sure to head over and pick it up here before it's gone. Isn't he just the cutest, the image was drawn by our very own DT Diva Marlene and this is her debut image.

I colored Mr. Fat Boy-ardee with my copics and added these button brads I have had in my stash. Gingham paper and ribbon are scraps from my stash and used my QuicKutz dies for scalloped rectangle mat as well as my SU punches for ovals. A little doodled stitching with my copic multi-liner and Presto a cute card that would work for a picnic, dinner invite, or even a Pampered chef party.

Chicken Girl Designs May Releases

Today is new release day over at i (heart) papers and the Chicken Girl stamps are exclusive to this store. You can find the May releases here, they can be bought as a collection for $8.50 or individually for $2.50 each. I chose to work with the graduate image as in my house 8th grade graduation is just around the corner for my Micah- they grow up so fast! I of course used my copics to color my image and added a little shimmer with my Atyou Spica pen. I think these will make super cute cards to give to the many kiddos on hubby's baseball team that are graduating 8th grade this year.

We are very excited as we have several new ladies joining the Chicken Girl Design team, make sure to check out everyone's blogs to see their fantastic work!
