Project Christy featured on Victoria Case Designs

I was so excited and honored to be one of the October guest designers for Victoria Case Designs and am so sad to see my time ending. I was super excited when Victoria allowed me to do a project ans feature it on her blog here. Since I have boys, I decided to make these cute little treat sacks using sports images from VCD. These would make great party favor bags, treat sacks for school parties, etc. So what are you waiting for, I would love to see what cuties you come up with.

Supplies:
1- 8.5 x 11 sheet of cardstock & 1- 8.5 x 11 strip of patterned paper
Victoria Case Digital Image
(used: Soccer, Playing Ball, Baseball)
Copics
Ribbons and embellishments
Crop-a-dile or hole punch
Chestnut Roan & CTMH Black Ink

Score your 8.5 x 11 piece of cardstock on the long side (11”) at 3, 5, 8, 10, & 11 and then rotate and score shorter side (8.5”) at 2.

Cut out a small piece as shown above to make easier for folding. Place adhesive on pieces as indicated above-note adhesive for middle flap will go on inside. Before assembling I added my strip of patterned paper, colored my image, and decorated outside of bag. Assemble your box and then add your ribbon. For soccer/baseball bags I slightly creased sides of bag and then punched holes with my Crop-a-dile to run my ribbon through, for basket ball bag I just punched hole and added my ribbon securing with brads.
